Ashley chose occupational therapy because she enjoys the use of creativity and play for meaningful connection and development, so kids can grow and do more independently. She loves helping children tackle challenges, supporting them as they develop persistence and work towards their goal, and seeing them achieve that goal!
Ashley earned her bachelor’s in psychology and philosophy from Elmhurst College. She also holds a master’s in occupational therapy from Davenport University.
Additionally, Ashley has the following certifications: Interactive Metronome, Astronaut Training (Sound Activated Vestibular-Visual Protocol) and Therapeutic Listening.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She also loves do it yourself (DIY) projects and crafting, as well as practicing martial arts!
