Emily is a physical therapist and aquatic therapist who comes to Hummingbird with pediatric experience working with children ages 0-18 with a range of diagnoses (neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic injuries, coordination and movement disorders, and developmental delays). She is committed to taking the families and child’s needs into consideration when forming a treatment plan. Emily enjoys formulating fun and functional approaches to help her patients make progress and meet their goals.
Emily completed the following continuing education courses/trainings:
Emily received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, son and husky. She loves cooking, trying new restaurants, being active, and cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams.
