Kaitlyn is an occupational therapist who thrives on her patients’ success. She loves watching her patients laugh and smile as they realize they can achieve their goals. Kaitlyn believes children learn best through a multi-sensory approach and play-based therapy. Kaitlyn came to Hummingbird with experience working at a therapeutic school and volunteering with a Child Life team at a local pediatric hospital.
Kaitlyn received a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Health Science from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Carroll University.
Kaitlyn has taken continuing education courses in Interactive Metronome, handwriting for children, integration of primitive reflex, executive function and ADHD and much more.
When she is not at Hummingbird, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with dogs, and being outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
