Liz is passionate about language development and the way our minds process and communicate information. This fascination led her to pursue a career as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, where she helps children develop and enhance their communication skills. She loves the opportunity to work one-on-one with children and their families and work closely with them to understand their unique needs and goals.
Liz’s favorite part about being a pediatric speech language pathologist is working with a diverse range of children, each with their own distinct abilities and needs. This variety keeps each session both exciting and fulfilling, as every session offers new opportunities for growth and learning. The most rewarding part of what she does is being able to make a positive impact on kiddos' lives.
She expands her knowledge through continuing education courses on pediatric feeding and autism.
Liz earned her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University.
In her spare time, Liz loves cooking for her 5 children, getting exercise, and being outdoors! She also enjoys assisting in the NICU at Edward Hospital.
