Maggie’s passion for occupational therapy stems from a deep-rooted love for helping children learn and grow in a playful, creative, and interactive way! Growing up with siblings in the medical and therapy fields, she witnessed firsthand the transformative impact these professions have on people's lives, which inspired her to pursue a career in this area. What drew Maggie specifically to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist is the ability to support children’s development while incorporating creative, fun, and engaging activities—so much so that they don’t even realize they’re working on skills. Occupational therapy is the perfect fit, allowing her to combine her love for children with a meaningful and creative way to make a difference in their lives.
The best part of her job is getting to step into her kids' world, engaging in fun and playful activities that help them build important skills and seeing their faces light up with joy and pride when they accomplish their goals.
Maggie is hoping to take continuing education courses in the fields of sensory processing, vision, reflex integration, and socio-emotional development.
Maggie received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at the University of Dayton and her Masters of Occupational Therapy at North Central College.
In her spare time you can find her reading, spending time with family and friends, doing Pilates, and playing games.
