As a child, Mary received speech therapy and saw firsthand the major impact it’s had on her life. Mary has a deep love for music and theatre and speech therapy gave her confidence at a young age to participate in all her favorite activities. She knew that she wanted to be able to help other kids feel that same confidence.
Today, Mary is speech-language pathologist who enjoys helping kids find their voice.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences.
She has completed numerous continuing education courses in pediatric feeding and swallowing, building speech and language skills through play, motor planning and much more.
In her spare time, Mary loves going to Cubs games and trying her best to make an appearance on the video board during the YMCA! She can also frequently be found playing ukulele and singing for her cat and family members.
