Ms. Megan B, MS., CCC - SLP
Licensed and Certified Speech/Language Pathologist
Feeding Therapist
Westmont Location
Growing up, Megan received speech & language therapy services for 6 years, and the experience left a lasting impact on her life. Her SLP was a constant source of support and encouragement and inspired Megan to follow a similar path. Now, as a speech & language pathologist herself, Megan strives to be that same trusted, supportive figure for other children.
For Megan, one of the most rewarding parts of being a speech & language pathologist is the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with the kiddos and families she works with.
Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from Saint Mary’s College and a Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University.
Megan expands her expertise through continuing education courses in fluency disorders. She also attended “Camp Shout Out: Youth Who Stutter”. She collaborated with certified fluency specialists while gaining insight into campers’ experiences, thoughts, and feelings related to communication.
When she’s not at work, Megan loves spending quality time with friends and family. Bonus if it’s somewhere outside, like the beach or lake! A fun fact about her is that she hopes to be on the reality show “Survivor” someday.
Her favorite quote is “Start each day with a positive thought and a grateful heart” -Roy T. Bennett
