Ms. Abigail, MOT, OTR/L
Licensed Occupational Therapist
SOFFI Certified Professional
Westmont Location
Abigail chose to become a pediatric occupational therapist after receiving and seeing the benefits of OT services as a child! She loves that occupational therapy focuses on function and quality of life instead of norms as standards.
Abigail’s favorite part about being a pediatric occupational therapist is when a child becomes comfortable enough with her to be their authentic self! Building trust between kiddos and their families drives Abigail in her work.
She expands her knowledge through continuing education courses on infant motor development, NICU therapies, pelvic floor disorders, toileting, handwriting, and self-regulation. Additionally, Abigail is a SOFFI Certified Professional and has an Illinois Early Intervention Credential.
Abigail earned her Bachelors in Occupational Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.
Outside of work, you’ll find Abigail spending time with her daughter! In the rare free time she gets, she enjoys crocheting, embroidering, and exploring all of the Chicago area’s public libraries.
Abigail’s favorite quote is “Life takes on meaning in the minute-by-minute reality in which we experience ourselves achieving ordinary things.” -Gary Kielhofner
