Candace comes from a family full of therapists! Seeing their incredible work inspired her to become an occupational therapist. She loves getting to collaborate and problem solve with the families she works with.
She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and Professional Educator Licensure in Early Childhood Special Education from Lewis University.
Candace is certified in Sensory Integration through USC and DIR Floortime certified through ICDL. She also continues to take continuing education courses on autism, AAC and Gestalt Language Processing, and Interoception-Based Supports.
When Candace is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Cosmo, and thrifting.
Candace is also a working group member at Stanford University’s Center for Sleep in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Candace is passionate about honoring neurodiversity and strives to be a neurodiversity-affirming and person-centered clinician.
