Courtney was drawn to occupational therapy after learning more about sensory processing and the importance of having a variety of sensory experiences early in life to aid in development. Her favorite part of occupational therapy is seeing the pride child and caregivers feel over progress made – big or small.
Courtney received her Bachelors in Exercise Science and her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Elmhurst University.
She has completed numerous continuing education courses/training in sensory, interactive metronome, Neuro-Developmental treatment (NDT) and reflex integration. She is also certified as an introductory level C in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI).
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys creating projects on her Cricut, sewing, and watching reality TV.
Her favorite quote comes from her grandpa who said: “You can plan the plan, but you can’t plan the outcome.”
