Ms. Hayley, OTD, OTR/L
Doctorate of Occupational Therapy
Licensed Occupational Therapist
Westmont Location
Hayley’s passion for occupational therapy began at the age of 13 when she had the opportunity to shadow a pediatric occupational therapist! From that moment, she knew this was what she wanted to do. She values the ability to take a holistic, whole-child approach, making meaningful differences in the lives of children and their families. The flexibility and variety in intervention strategies allow her to tailor her methods to each child’s unique needs and meet them exactly where they are in their journey.
What Hayley loves most about being a pediatric occupational therapist is the opportunity to incorporate playfulness and creativity into helping kids achieve their goals. She finds it incredibly rewarding to build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, and there’s nothing more exciting than seeing a child take pride in their progress, growing into their most confident, authentic selves.
She expands her knowledge through continuing education courses on sensory integration and the development of fine motor skills.
Hayley earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a major in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Rush University.
In her spare time, Hayley loves to be active and outdoors! She enjoys hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and dancing.
Her favorite quote is “Wake up with gratitude, for each day brings endless possibilities.”
