Ms. Nancy, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Licensed Physical Therapist
Aquatic Therapy Team
Elmhurst Location
Nancy began to explore the field of Physical Therapy while still in high school with the encouragement from her sister, a healthcare professional. She valued how PT’s helped others get back to their daily activities with improved function and reduced pain. Ms. Nancy began her career in the school setting, where for over 15 years, she enjoyed assisting children overcome physical challenges in order to learn and play alongside their peers. She loves seeing the moment when a child finally achieves something that they once believed to be impossible.
Always eager to learn more, Ms. Nancy has taken a wide-range of continuing education courses focused on a variety of pediatric needs such as torticollis, reflex integration, play-based therapy, neuromotor differences, and injury rehabilitation. She holds a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University.
Ms. Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband and three young-adult children. As a family, they love traveling, playing board games, spending time at the lake, and watching movies together. Ms. Nancy also has a love for watching sports, biking, playing pickleball, solving puzzles of all kinds, and wants to improve upon her crochet skills.
Because life may be challenging or direct you on a path that seems impossible, her favorite quote is “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
