Sophia’s favorite part about being a speech-language pathologist is experiencing the joy that kids feel when they accomplish something important to them.
She chose this path after a few of her family members received speech therapy. Seeing the speech-language pathologists’ empathy and compassion for her family inspired Sophia to pursue this career.
Sophia earned her Bachelor’s of Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University and her Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elmhurst University.
In her spare time, Sophia loves to do yoga, read, and surround herself with family and friends.
