Sylvia chose to be a pediatric occupational therapist because she loves to see kids learn new things and develop independence all while having fun! Her favorite part about her job is watching kiddos achieve their goals and make progress in their developmental journey.
Sylvia earned her Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences (OTA) from South Suburban College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Governors State University, and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Governors State University.
Sylvia has completed continuing education courses in sensory integration.
When Sylvia is away from work she enjoys hiking, listening to music, completing escape rooms, playing video games, and spending time with her dog and friends.
