Ms. Emily, LSW, ASDCS
Licensed Social Worker
Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist
Woodridge Location
When she was younger, Emily had the opportunity to work with a school social worker. Emily loved learning about the social worker’s role and how she advocated for her. Today, as a social worker, Emily enjoys seeing her clients become more of their authentic selves and allowing their personality to shine through during sessions.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology at University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Healthcare from Aurora University.
Emily continues to take educational courses including Real World Applications of Polyvagal Theory and play therapy. She is also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She has experience working in a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) setting as well as community mental health.
In her spare time, Emily loves painting, enjoying time with her family, and watching football (Go Patriots!).
Her favorite quote is “Even the smallest shift in perspective can bring about the greatest healing.” ― Joshua Kai
