Elizabeth was drawn to speech and language pathology after her grandmother suffered from a stroke and received services from a speech pathologist to help maintain and support her speech and language skills. She had always wanted to work with kids and loved how large the scope of practice is for speech pathologists.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Augustana College and her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Illinois University.
She has taken continuing courses in a wide-range of areas including SOS Approach to Feeding and DIR Floortime.
When Elizabeth is away from work, she enjoys taking walks, reading books, and shopping.
Elizabeth’s favorite quote is: “It’s a good day for a good day.”
