Hummingbird Children's Academy is a one-of-a-kind therapeutic enrichment program in the western suburbs with locations in Westmont, Woodridge and Elmhurst.
The play-based curriculum is designed and implemented by pediatric specialists and therapists in the fields of speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, developmental therapy, physical therapy, counseling and reading. The Academy was created to provide children with a small group, therapeutic and educational experience. Therapist-led lessons and activities are geared towards children's social emotional development. Your child will learn critical skills such as relationship building, perseverance and problem solving. Kids also love playing in our two professionally designed sensory play gyms where they develop their play and gross motor skills through climbing, swinging, running and jumping.
