"I can't tell you how grateful I am to have you as partners in (my son's) care. In an overwhelming world of therapy, your partnership is invaluable. Thank you for your dedication and continuous care and concern."

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jen. We had other OT therapists in the past but I had no idea what a difference a GREAT therapist can make. She is that rare combination of expertise and heart. She is a gifted occupational therapist that truly cares about my son. Jen is fun, charismatic and has an innate sense of empathy and professionalism. She is creative and resourceful bringing new experiences to each session. My son has no idea how hard he is working and looks forward to each session with her. Jen has exceeded my expectations and is an invaluable member of our support team."

"Christina has made a huge difference in the speech of my toddler. He loves her and is very excited when she comes even though she makes him work hard. He's doing so well he doesn't need her anymore and we both are going to miss her."

"They have been working with our son Nick for three years now, and the resulting improvement in his speech and language skills has been nothing short of amazing."

"Thanks so much for coming this morning (to the child's IEP meeting). You always make these meetings easier because when they ask the hard questions you get it. Smiling face with smiling eyes."
-Amy, Parent
"Christina is a highly skilled speech therapist, but she is also a very warm and caring person, and her commitment to her students extends far beyond language and learning. Her kind but firm approach has made an enormous difference not only in Nick’s communication skills, but in his social, emotional and character development as well. My wife Monica and I highly recommend her services— not only as a speech therapist, but as a mentor and friend."
-Edward, Parent
"Feeding therapy has been a huge game-changer for our son and our entire family. Before meeting with Christina, our son only ate a handful of foods, none of which included any fruits or vegetables. He was very specific about which brands he would eat and was never willing to try new foods. His eating habits were a daily stress factor and made life difficult, especially in terms of being able to eat in restaurants, on-the-go or at someone else's house. Christina quickly realized that his issues mainly centered on having the confidence to try/eat new things. She made eating into a fun game and gave him the power to realize that he COULD do it! Now he is SO proud of himself and is always asking to try new foods. Our entire family has been changed forever because we chose to reach out to Christina. We were skeptical at first, but feeding therapy really does work and can make such a difference in a child's well-being, in addition to the overall family dynamic - we are all happier and healthier as a result. It may seem like a small part of life, but it truly is amazing to be able to go out for dinner and order something for our son off the menu - and it usually includes a fruit or a vegetable!"

"Ms. Christina has been working with a student in our classroom for the past two years. Her support and assistance has been invaluable! Ms. Christina’s interaction with all the students in the class was very positive and beneficial. Her expertise and knowledge in her field is evident when working with her students. Our entire staff had the opportunity to work with Ms. Christina at a professional development presentation on Speech and Language through Game Playing in the ECE classroom which was extremely helpful to all of us! We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome Ms. Christina into our preschool classrooms and would recommend her services highly!"
-Ann Marie Berlino, Director, Hinsdale Community Preshool
"Hummingbird presented a language processing workshop to our staff for teacher in-service training during the past school year. We learned some important pointers and rules in encouraging language development and auditory processing in young, preschool-age children. These are tools that we can use every day in the classroom. Hummingbird is helpful, kind, teacher and child- friendly, and a wonderful source of knowledge and information to our staff."
-Mary Seiferth, Director, Hinsdale Covenant Preschool
"Christina has such an incredible gift. My son's heightened sensory to food has been decreased enough for us to be able to go to a restaurant as a family. She has such a calm and loving way to get through to our kids. We are blessed to have worked with her and hope to again in the future."
-Erin, Mom
