Ms. Katie S., MOT, OTR/L, ASDCS
Licensed Occupational Therapist
Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist
Woodridge Location
Katie was drawn to Occupational Therapy because it utilizes a holistic approach and considers both the mind and the physical body. She loves how excited her kiddos are to play and that little do they know that this “play” is changing their lives.
You’ll often find Katie encouraging kiddos to participate by working with them or showing them how something is done - from playing with slime, going down slides, jumping in ball pits, or dancing to music with them!
Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health, Rehabilitation Studies Concentration University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master of Occupational Therapy from Governors State University.
She is also CPR certified.
When Katie is away from work, she enjoys going on long walks outdoors and hanging out with my family and friends. You can also find her at Target or a baseball game in Chicago on her day off!
