Licensed & Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Anna, a certified occupational therapy assistant, is a team player who has a passion for using her creativity to formulate treatment activities to benefit the whole child. She enjoys working alongside occupational therapists to help make a difference in each child, and loves to make therapy fun! Her three years of experience as a preschool teacher makes her a great addition to Hummingbird’s Developmental Academies, but she also does individual treatment sessions.
Anna received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Music from North Central College in Naperville, IL. She then went to receive an Associates degree to become a COTA from Saint Catherine University.
Anna has taken educational courses that include Interactive Metronome, Canine Assisted Therapy, and Quadriplegia.
In her spare time Anna enjoys spending time with her friends and two cats, traveling, reading, playing board games, and hiking.
